HotNewHipHop covered the release and did not enjoy it. The site filed the song under rage rap and underground rap, described the approach as an assault on the ears, and compared the escalation to an edgelord raising the stakes for the sake of raising them. Across two user reviews the track holds a 1.25 out of 5.

That reaction is worth separating from the question of whether the music works on its own terms. Rage rap is built on abrasion, and audiences who seek it out are not looking for restraint. What the review actually challenges is authenticity: whether each release is a genuine escalation or a formula being reapplied.
