Allen Mitchell has launched Reverie Ranch Music Group, a full-service entertainment company handling artist management, development and select recording and publishing deals, MusicRow reported on August 4. Its roster includes Michael Ray, Jenna Paulette, Tyler Booth, Adam Hood, the Davisson Brothers Band, Stone Senate and Cledus T Judd.
Mitchell spent more than 12 years at the Erv Woolsey Company, serving as its president at the time the firm closed, and previously held roles at Bigger Picture Music Group, Mercury Records, Universal South and Audium/KOCH Records. "Music, especially country music, has been my passion for as long as I can remember," Mitchell said. "While I never dreamed of standing in the Opry Circle, I always dreamed of standing in the shadows supporting those who do." He credited his "dear friend and mentor," the late Erv Woolsey, with believing in him early on.
"Our mission is to discover, develop and champion exceptional artists by combining decades of proven industry experience with innovative, forward-thinking strategies," Mitchell said of the new venture. "We're committed to providing world-class artist management, development, strategic partnerships and select recording and publishing opportunities that empower artists to build lasting careers."
The company's team also includes EJ Bernas as artist manager and director of DSPs, satellite and terrestrial radio, Kacey Wright handling social and digital marketing, and Josh Halasz on digital content and strategy. Reverie Ranch's office sits on Music Row, in the RCA/Victor Building at 30 Music Square West.
