ArcTanGent festival will move to a new site in 2027

ArcTanGent festival organisers have confirmed the event will relocate for the first time in 2027, moving from Fernhill Farm in Bristol, where it has been held for the past 12 years, to Todenham Manor Farm near Moreton-in-Marsh in Gloucestershire.

Landowners at Fernhill decided last year that they no longer wanted the festival on their farm, organisers said, forcing the search for a new home. After looking at sites across the South and South West of England, they settled on Todenham Manor Farm, describing it as more central for most of the country and roughly the same size as the Bristol site.

ArcTanGent is a festival built around metal, prog and alternative rock. The 2026 edition returns to Fernhill Farm one more time, running August 19 to 22 with performances from Primus, Chelsea Wolfe, and Cult Of Luna & Julie Christmas, before the move takes effect the following year.

The 2027 site promises the same layout and vibe, with an enhanced VIP area and a new VIP bar, and organisers say the location has a drier weather history, having rarely rained there during festival season since 2012. The 2027 edition runs August 19 to 21, with early entry the day before, and a waitlist for Super Early Bird tickets is open now.

Organisers put the decision in their own words: "After seeing LOADS of places in the South and South West, we think we've found the perfect place," they said. "You've trusted us for the last 12 years, so please trust us again now," they continued. "Todenham Manor Farm is awesome and will be a brilliant home for ATG."
