Audrey Nuna released a new single called superHuman on August 7, NME reported, her first solo release in two years since 2024's Trench. Made with producer Cirkut, known for his work with Rihanna and Lady Gaga, the track blends rap, pop and R&B and carries themes of redemption and validation. Nuna said she wanted to capture a feeling of redemption and validation, like the tide finally turning in her favor.

Nuna is a Grammy-nominated Korean-American singer and songwriter who provided the singing voice of Mira in the film KPop Demon Hunters, a role NME said raised her profile ahead of this solo return. The single comes via Republic Records and doubles as an official track for the 2026 VALORANT Champions Tour, her second collaboration with the game.

Nuna launched her solo live show at Rock in Rio Lisboa last month and has since played Summerfest, Open'er Festival, Roskilde Festival and Ruisrock, with more dates this month at Japan's Summer Sonic Festival, Austria's Frequency Festival and Belgium's Pukkelpop.

NME noted KPop Demon Hunters has kept growing since its release, drawing more than twice the viewership of Netflix's next most popular film and adding 130 million further views in the first half of 2026, with a sequel confirmed for 2029.
