Blu and Sndtrak release new single "Jesus"

It follows the previously released title track from their upcoming album LA.

Blu Sndtrak

Blu and producer Sndtrak have released a new single called "Jesus," the latest preview of their upcoming album LA. HotNewHipHop published the track on August 18, 2026.

The song leans on atmospheric drums, background vocals and a tight bassline, giving Blu room to work through dense, layered verses. HotNewHipHop writer Alexander Cole called it a natural pairing of styles between the veteran rapper and producer, continuing a partnership that already produced the title track "LA" a few weeks earlier, in late July.

Blu has spent close to two decades building a reputation as one of underground hip-hop's most technically skilled rappers, and LA marks his latest full-length collaboration with a single producer, a format he has returned to repeatedly throughout his catalog.

No release date for the album has been confirmed yet, leaving "Jesus" and "LA" as the only two tracks revealed so far from the project.

"Jesus" adds to a steady run of new hip-hop releases previewing full-length projects this month, with more upcoming albums tracked on the release calendar.
