Blu DeTiger kicks off a new era with single "Feel Good"

She released it hours before a packed Jazz Cafe show in London.

Blu DeTiger

Blu DeTiger released her new single "Feel Good" mere hours before taking the stage at London's Jazz Cafe, and she had every reason to be in high spirits about it. The bass virtuoso built the track around disco and house grooves, aiming for something purposefully uplifting.

"'Feel Good' puts the boogie in boogie sleaze," DeTiger said, describing a mid-tempo bop built for strutting down a sunny street. She said the bass line is the heart of the track, with live drums, guitar and percussion giving it its movement and pulse.

She also shared a music video made in partnership with Red Bull, built around that same feeling of being on top of the world. The packed Camden crowd at Jazz Cafe got an early, in-person preview of the song's energy before the video's release.

"Feel Good" marks the start of what DeTiger is calling a new creative chapter, though further details on where that era leads, including any album plans, have not been announced yet. The single adds to this week's new pop and indie coverage.
