Brandi Carlile has postponed the UK and European leg of her tour, NME reported on August 8, pushing the dates originally set to begin in October back to March 2027.
Carlile announced the postponement on Instagram, telling fans she had been "so profoundly anxious about this decision" but had to push the shows back over "personal circumstances." "I want nothing more than to see my friends across the pond, and I've done everything I can to avoid rescheduling this tour," she wrote.
Her Lisbon show has been canceled outright, with refunds going to ticket holders, while two new dates have been added in Wolverhampton and Copenhagen. Fans holding tickets to English shows that changed venues will get full refunds along with priority access to the new dates.
The postponement does not affect the U.S. leg of the tour, which is set to begin next week in Maine, or Carlile's appearance next month at the All Things Go festival at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Maryland, running September 25 to 27.
The delay follows an active year for Carlile that has included political statements: earlier this year she headlined a livestreamed benefit show in Minneapolis, "Be Human: A Concert for Minneapolis," that raised more than $600,000 for the Advocates for Human Rights and saw her call out the actions of ICE in the city.
The postponement comes as Carlile has more news on the way: she has set a deluxe edition of Returning to Myself for September 25, and she is also part of the lineup AmericanaFest has been building for its event this fall.
