Brooks & Dunn are marking 35 years since their debut album Brand New Man with the record's first vinyl pressing, due out October 23, MusicRow reported. The album originally arrived on August 13, 1991, carrying ten tracks the duo wrote themselves.

Brand New Man produced four consecutive number-one singles on the country charts: the title track, "Neon Moon," "My Next Broken Heart" and "Boot Scootin' Boogie." It reached the top five of Billboard's Country Albums chart and cracked the top ten of the all-genre Billboard 200 before being certified seven-times platinum.

"When we released Brand New Man, we were two songwriters trying to make the best record we could," Kix Brooks said, adding that he never imagined those songs would still be finding new fans 35 years later. "To see those songs still finding their way to new fans 35 years later is something we never could have imagined."

Brooks added that finally putting the album on vinyl and celebrating where it all started felt "pretty special."

"We were just two crazy guys chasing the Nashville dream," Ronnie Dunn said, describing how unexpected it felt that the songs would still be talked about 35 years on. "The fans are the reason these songs have lasted, and seeing the younger generation connect with them is what keeps it exciting."

The record helped kick off a run of sold-out tours and a line-dance revival that carried Brooks & Dunn through more than three decades as one of the most successful duos in country music history. Putting Brand New Man on vinyl for the first time gives longtime fans and newer listeners a physical way to revisit where that run began.
