Channel Tres has released Enigma POV, his second album. The Compton native spent years playing packed live shows and putting out singles before his full-length debut, Head Rush, finally arrived in 2024 with guest spots from Thundercat, Toro y Moi and Ty Dolla Sign.
This year alone he has stayed busy well outside his own album cycle, appearing on new records from Thundercat and Dahi while dropping his own singles "Pop Pop," "Black Techno Guy" and the Crystal Waters-sampling "Medicine." Enigma POV follows an earlier report on the same album's release, and now arrives as the full, completed project.
Tres has built his sound around funky, club-ready pop that draws as much from house music as from hip-hop, a mix that has made him a reliable collaborator across genres even as his own catalog stays relatively slim. Enigma POV is his most substantial solo statement since Head Rush.
No touring plans tied specifically to the album have been detailed yet, though the electronic and hip-hop crossover at the core of Tres's sound has kept him a fixture on festival bills in recent years.
