Charli XCX adds a second O2 night to her Music, Fashion, Film tour

Charli XCX has added a second night at The O2 in London to her Music, Fashion, Film tour, on Saturday 20 February 2027. It sits directly after the date already confirmed at the venue on the nineteenth, and the arena itself gave phenomenal demand as the reason when it announced the show.

A correction first, because our own record had this wrong. This story was filed here with a September date, and NME's standfirst says September too. The body of the same NME piece and The O2's own announcement both say 20 February 2027, and every other date on the published schedule falls in February. February is right, and the date on our record needs correcting to match.

The full run is seven dates: Dublin's 3Arena on 13 February, Glasgow's OVO Hydro on the fifteenth, Manchester's Co-op Live on the seventeenth, The O2 in London on the nineteenth and twentieth, Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome on the twenty-second and Paris' Accor Arena on the twenty-fourth. The singer-songwriter Audrey Hobert supports throughout.

The extra night matters because of what preceded it. Fans had criticised how few dates the tour carried, and Charli XCX, whose real name is Charlotte Emma Aitchison, answered them directly on Instagram rather than letting it sit. She apologised to anyone disappointed and said she had to be honest about her own limits, describing touring as "really emotionally and physically hard for me".

She was careful about how she framed it. She said she was not looking for sympathy and has a great deal of respect for artists who can sustain long, intense, high-octane runs, but that she has never been one of those people. That is an unusually plain thing for an arena-level pop artist to say out loud, and it is the context in which a single added date reads as a concession rather than a routine upsell.

The tour supports her eighth studio album, Music, Fashion, Film, released in July 2026 as the follow-up to Brat. NME gave it four stars, calling it a snapshot of stardom from a modern artist and singling out the way it treats art as something that lets you move past your own limits. Tickets for the new date went on sale the morning after the announcement at 10am.
