Danz CM has released two new songs, Bontempi Pop 3 and A Violent Power, and Stereogum reports she is using them to tease a new project rather than as standalone singles.

They follow MYTHS, the ambient album she put out in February 2026 and built on vintage synthesizers. Stereogum's Danielle Chelosky, who covered both, describes her as a synth wiz, and the earlier record leaned heavily on that hardware.

The titles point in two directions. Bontempi is an Italian maker of cheap consumer organs and keyboards, and naming a third instalment after it suggests a continuing series rather than a one-off. A Violent Power reads as a departure from the calmer register MYTHS worked in.

Putting out two songs at once without naming what they belong to is a familiar move for an artist who has released across ambient and pop registers, and it leaves room to announce the format later. The songs are logged on the release calendar with the rest of the week's electronic releases.
