DJ Bou invites the flight attendant from his viral track onstage in Las Vegas

Drum and bass DJ Bou, known for the track 'Baddadan,' built a song from audio of a British Airways flight attendant calmly handling a disruptive passenger, then brought the flight attendant onstage during a Las Vegas show, NME reported on August 12. Bou filmed the confrontation while boarding a flight from London's Heathrow Airport to Las Vegas on August 6, sharing clips to his Instagram Stories.

The flight attendant, Sophie Turner, can be heard warning a disruptive passenger, "If I have to tell you again, I will be restraining you, sir, if you do not stay seated."

Impressed by how she handled it, Bou used the rest of the ten-hour flight to turn her voice into a drum and bass track, later discovering that Turner was already a fan of his music. He also posted an Instagram update documenting the track's creation; after seeing it, Turner messaged him directly, and the two later took a selfie together, with Bou writing that she would be coming to that night's show.

Bou debuted the finished track, titled 'STAY SEATED,' during his set at Las Vegas venue We All Scream that same evening, bringing Turner onstage to applause from the crowd. He captioned the moment online, "Big up Sophie, you're a real one," and later joked on social media that she deserved a raise.

Per The Standard, the disruptive passenger from the original flight was escorted off by armed Metropolitan Police officers, and British Airways said disruptive behavior is never tolerated onboard, without commenting directly on the song, part of a busy year of electronic news.
