Drake joins Don Toliver in Toronto for the first live ICEMAN songs

Drake performed songs from ICEMAN live for the first time on 31 August, and he did it as a guest at somebody else's show. Don Toliver brought him out during the Toronto stop of the OCTANE World Tour, in Drake's home city, several months after the album was released.

The set was short and pointed. He opened with Shabang, moved to Burning Bridges, which is widely read as aimed at A$AP Rocky, and closed on Janice STFU. Video from the venue circulated quickly afterwards.

Toliver used the moment to thank him directly, telling Drake he had inspired everyone in the room and that the tour would not exist in the form it does without him. Drake returned the compliment, thanking Toliver for having him and noting the significance of the occasion.

"This is my first time performing the album since it dropped, so thank you for being here," he said, before adding that he loved doing this in front of the city and thanking Toliver for keeping it alive.

What is notable is that Drake released ICEMAN, along with three other albums, and then declined to tour any of it. He has let the music sit rather than immediately going on the road, which makes a guest slot at a friend's show the only place the songs have been heard live.

The appearance has fed talk of another record before the year is out. Drake has been teasing a project called FOMO for weeks, posting an image of a case reading FEAR OF MISSING OUT and, in a written note, pairing ICE with 2026 FOMO. He was also spotted shooting what appeared to be a music video at the CNE in Toronto. That follows reports he is back in the studio while ICEMAN holds the charts and that his next track is a team-up with Karol G. Any dates that follow would land on the tour guide, alongside the rest of the hip-hop calendar.
