Dustin Lynch will release Clean Slate, his new album, on October 30 through BBR Music Group and BMG Nashville.

The title comes from the record's own title track, and the writing across the twelve songs circles back over where Lynch has been and where he wants to go next. "There's a lot of life on this record," he said, listing falling for somebody, missing somebody and working out what matters when everything quietens down.

He co-wrote seven of the twelve tracks, working with Zach Crowell, Josh Thompson, Jameson Rodgers, Brent Anderson, Hunter Phelps and Ben Johnson among others. Ashley Cooke joins him on "How You Been."

The lead track, "Made In A Bottle," was written by Jesse Frasure, Mark Holman and Geoff Warburton and arrives on September 4. Lynch says the band started playing it live over the summer and the response was immediate, and that the recording was kept close to the live show rather than layered up with studio tricks.

The album lands weeks after Setlist Staples, a collection of all ten of his chart-toppers released on August 28. That set arrived with new RIAA certifications, taking "Small Town Boy" to five times platinum, "Thinking 'Bout You" to four times platinum, "Ridin' Roads" to double platinum and "Chevrolet" with Jelly Roll to platinum.

The sequencing tells its own story: a back catalogue tidied up and certified in August, then a new album at the end of October. Clean Slate sits on the release calendar with the rest of the autumn country schedule.
