Eagles book four more Sphere shows for January 2027

Eagles have added four new dates to their Las Vegas Sphere residency, set for January 15, 16, 22 and 23, 2027. In a social media announcement, the band said the shows were booked in response to "overwhelming demand," and tickets go on sale August 14, with the new dates now reflected in the tour guide.

The residency is the longest in Sphere's short history: Eagles have now booked 72 shows at the venue since September 2024, almost twice as many as the next-longest run, by U2, who opened the Sphere in September 2023 and have played 40 dates there.

The Sphere dates are separate from Eagles' farewell trek, The Long Goodbye, announced in June 2023 as an open-ended run that continues until everyone who wants to see the band for the last time has had the chance. The band most recently played three stadium dates on that tour in May 2026, and added a batch of December 2026 Sphere dates in July. Sphere Entertainment itself recently posted an 11% revenue rise to $314 million, driven largely by the venue's growing slate of residencies.

Eagles have not announced a final show, and their current lineup, which has included Vince Gill since 2017, is considered very unlikely to release new music. "This is our swan song, but the music goes on and on," the band has said.

That line comes from the statement Eagles issued when they announced The Long Goodbye in June 2023, thanking fans for "embracing this band and its music" and calling them "the reason we have been able to carry on for over five decades." Taste of Country has suggested the band will likely close out its touring career with one final stadium show, though Eagles have confirmed nothing beyond the Sphere dates already on the calendar. Either way, Eagles remain one of rock music's most successful live acts by any measure, Sphere included.
