EST Gee has released two more songs, YA DIGG and YOU KNOW IT, both dated August 28, and both cut from the same block of material as the album he has coming. The Louisville rapper is working towards BIGGER THAN THE DEVIL, due on September 11, and the pair keeps up a release schedule that has been running most of the year.

The two songs are built differently. YA DIGG is the smoother of them, a mid-tempo ride with EST SkiMike alongside him. YOU KNOW IT is bouncier, and carries 86Snot, EST Spit and EST4Nikk. HotNewHipHop scored the pair 3.5 out of 5 and described them as simple tracks that work because of it, which is a reasonable read of what EST Gee does when he is not reaching for anything.

They land at the end of a long preview run. SOMETIMES, CALL SPITTA, SUPREME SANDERS and THUG CLUB all arrived ahead of them, and MusicSuey covered the SOMETIMES release when it landed. That is a lot of the record given away before release day, and whether the album still has surprises left is now the open question.

The rapper has built his catalog on this kind of volume since breaking out of Louisville, keeping the guest list close to his own circle rather than reaching for outside names. The EST prefix on three of the four credited features is the point: this is a crew record as much as a solo one, and the writing on both tracks is aimed at people who already know the cast.

Neither song has an album placement confirmed beyond the September 11 date, and no tracklist for BIGGER THAN THE DEVIL has been published yet. Both are streaming now.

The release joins a busy September for hip-hop full-lengths, and the dates around it are collected on the release calendar alongside the other albums due that month.
