Glastonbury Festival named the dates for its 2027 edition on 25 September 2025: Wednesday 23 June to Sunday 27 June at Worthy Farm. The announcement came wrapped around a fundraiser rather than a general on-sale, with the first 25 pairs of tickets placed in a prize draw instead of being sold.
Every pound raised, after payment processing fees, went to Medecins Sans Frontieres UK, known in English as Doctors Without Borders. The festival earmarked the money for medical care in Gaza and Sudan. Entries closed at noon on Friday 7 November 2025.
The draw followed a direct donation Glastonbury had already made earlier that year, split between MSF's work in Sudan and the Reconstructive Surgery Hospital in Amman, Jordan, which treats people with complex conflict-related injuries.
By the time the festival totted up its 2025 giving in December, the draw had taken £929,480 on its own. That sat on top of more than £4.2m in payments to over 300 organisations, including a separate £100,000 donation to MSF.
Putting tickets into a draw also sidesteps, for those 25 pairs at least, the scramble that the general sale has become. Glastonbury's registration-and-refresh model routinely sells a festival out in under an hour, and the 2027 edition follows a fallow year at Worthy Farm, which historically sharpens demand further.
