Gwen Stefani made a surprise appearance during Blake Shelton's set at the VOA Country Music Festival, joining her husband on stage for a night of duets, Country Now reported. Stefani later posted a recap on Instagram, joking that she and the couple's dog Betty had decided to "pull up" to the show.
"This is Gwen Stefani that's here tonight," Shelton told the crowd as he introduced her.
The pair performed their 2019 duet "Nobody But You," trading verses before harmonizing on the chorus. Before Stefani could leave the stage, Shelton asked her, "would you do one more song with me please?" She agreed, and he invited the crowd to join in, saying "Let's all do this together," before the two launched into "Happy Anywhere."
Joint appearances like this one are rare given how the couple splits time between their separate careers and life on their Oklahoma ranch, which made the VOA set a treat for fans who caught it.
Shelton has three more shows left on his 2026 schedule: Rock the Country Festival in Ocala, Florida, on August 29, Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida, on October 24, and Chase Field in Phoenix on November 14.
In May, Stefani's band No Doubt held a residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas while Shelton ran his own Live in Las Vegas residency nearby at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, keeping both performers busy even when they aren't sharing a stage together.
