The Heat Latin Music Awards, also known as Premios Heat, will hold their 2026 ceremony at the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center in Jalisco, Mexico, on November 5, Remezcla reported on August 14. It is the first time the awards have been held in Mexico, made possible through a partnership with the Government of Jalisco and the Municipality of Puerto Vallarta.
The show falls during HEAT Week, running from October 31 through November 5, which coincides with Day of the Dead festivities. Founded more than ten years ago by Diana Montes, the ceremony has previously been held in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and, last year, in Medellin, Colombia.
Montes framed the Jalisco move as more than a venue change: "Jalisco is not simply providing us with a venue, it is giving us a home and a place to come together once again around music," she said, adding: "We arrive with ten years of Latin American history, and here we have found the hands that know how to bring it to life."
Six co-hosts have been announced for the ceremony: Karime Pindter, Caroline Aquino, La Segura, Ignacio Baladan, Yohana Vargas and Dimelo King, drawn from television, hosting and content creation across Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Nominees for the awards have not been announced yet, and the ceremony will stream on LosHeat.tv for anyone not attending in person.
