House duo Prospa launch new label Prophecy with a SAPIAN single

The debut release, "Reason Why," comes from a 22-year-old producer already backed by Solomun and Chris Lake's labels.

Prospa SAPIAN

Prospa have launched a new label called Prophecy, built out of the Leeds duo's own touring event series of the same name, and handed its first release to SAPIAN, a 22-year-old house producer. His debut track for the label, "Reason Why," samples the early-1990s hip-house single "Ring My Bell" by Monie Love and Adeva, pairing that sample with a minimalist, stepping synth line and drums that echo Prospa's own productions.

EDM.com described the production as running lean, built on "a taut, locked-in house rhythm" with a sample that goes to work "goading the dancefloor into motion with a blunt demand to move." The outlet framed the debut as Prospa turning their live event brand into a proper label.

SAPIAN arrives with real momentum. He has already released music through Solomun's label Diynamic and Chris Lake's Black Book Records, and played his first Ibiza set last month at [UNVRS], a club EDM.com named the best in the world for 2025.

The launch continues a big year for Prospa. Their debut album, Free Your Mind, was the first full-length release in the history of CircoLoco Records, and "Reason Why" has reportedly already circulated in DJ sets for months, ahead of this formal label debut.

"Reason Why" is out now on streaming platforms, part of the week's new electronic releases, and marks Prophecy's first release since Prospa built the label out of their touring event series.
