The song was "The Hollow Descent," an original by Decessus, the band Fernández fronts. She did not reach for a standard or a cover version but for material her own group wrote, which is the detail Consequence led with in its own write-up.
Consequence's framing leans on the contrast: a beauty pageant contestant, on a Miss World stage, using extreme metal vocals. That contrast is why a music publication covered a pageant at all, and it is the whole of what the piece reports.
