Virginia extreme metal band Inter Arma have announced a 20th anniversary East Coast tour, kicking off Oct. 8 in Atlanta and wrapping Oct. 16 in Philadelphia. The band will play a mix of tracks from across its catalog, joined on select dates by fellow Virginians Antichrist Siege Machine and doom act Chained to the Bottom of the Ocean.
"Inter Arma played our first show in a grimy basement in Richmond, VA on October 12th, 2006," vocalist Mike Paparo said. "20 years and exactly 900 shows later we're proud to announce a 20th anniversary east coast run."
Paparo said the band plans to dust off older songs that haven't been played live in more than a decade for the run. The dates will also be the group's last shows for the foreseeable future, he said, as Inter Arma returns to its practice space to finish work on its sixth studio album.
The tour, tracked in full on the tour guide, follows the band's most recent release, 2024's New Heaven, tracks from which are likely to appear in the anniversary run's setlists alongside older material.
