Kaonashi released a new single called "...Typing" on August 13 through Equal Visions Records, Metal Injection reported. Randy LeBoeuf produced the track, and the outlet described it as chaotic and intense, framing it as the start of a new era for the experimental metal band.
The single follows Kaonashi's full length album I Want To Go Home, which came out last year. The band works at the noisier, more unpredictable end of metal, and Typing arrives as the first new music since that record.
Kaonashi head into the tour guide this fall on a run supporting The Callous Daoboys, with Girl Of Glass and Wielded Steel also on parts of the bill. The trek opens September 5 in Greenville, South Carolina, following three nights of shows in Philadelphia for the Never Home Fest, and runs into October with further dates alongside The Number Twelve Looks Like You, Blind Equation and Differences.
The single is now the newest entry in the release calendar for metal fans, with the tour keeping Kaonashi on the road into late October.
