M for Montreal has unveiled the official lineup for its 21st edition, and TVOD and Skiifall are among the acts added to a bill that now runs past 80 names.
The festival takes over venues across the city from November 18 to 21, among them Club Soda, MTELUS, Foufounes Electriques, La Sala Rossa, L'Escogriffe, Quai Des Brumes, Le Systeme, SAT, Ausgang Plaza and Casa Del Popolo.
Alongside Skiifall, the new Canadian names include Misc and Naima Frank, with international acts Perceval, Luxie, Swooh, Do Nothing, TVOD, LUCY, Jean-Paul Groove, A Good Year, papaya noon, EZEZEZ and Merina Gris also booked.
They join an Official Selection announced earlier that carries Yoo Doo Right, Lisa LeBlanc, Beton Arme, Population II, Edwin Raphael, Les Shirley, Le Ren, Helene Barbier, HAWA B, Bye Parula, Dominique Way, Lysandre, Lou Val, FAZE, Afrotronix, zouz, Babyteeth, Mulch, Gabriella Olivo and Cherrykim.
Further down the bill sit Hillsboro, Virgo Rising, cherry pick, dead ex girlfriends, Lucette, Sea of Lettuce and blind commentary, which is roughly the point of an event that has always worked as a showcase for acts before they break rather than a headliner showcase.
Festival passes are on sale now, with the full lineup posted on the festival's own site. The dates sit on the festival tracker alongside the rest of the autumn indie calendar.
