Country duo Muscadine Bloodline sign with Trenches Records and Republic

Muscadine Bloodline have partnered with Trenches Records and Republic Records, and the Alabama-born duo will mark the deal with a new single, "Escatawpa Hollow," on September 18.

Charlie Muncaster and Gary Stanton have been working together since 2015, and in that time the pair have passed a billion streams. "Me On You" and "Porch Swing Angel" are both certified platinum, and "Pieces," which features Lainey Wilson, is certified gold.

None of that came through a major label. The duo built the audience on their own, selling out headline tours abroad as well as at home and sharing stages with Turnpike Troubadours, Post Malone and Wilson.

"This is about adding horsepower without changing the engine," the duo said of the partnership, framing it as extra staff rather than a change of direction. Their line on the method has been consistent: take care of the fans and the rest follows.

The live calendar keeps going regardless. Muscadine Bloodline have dates with The Red Clay Strays and Turnpike Troubadours running through December, which is where the deal will get its first real test, and the routing sits alongside the rest of the year in the tour guide.

For a country act that spent a decade outside the label system, the arrangement reads as a distribution and marketing upgrade rather than a handover. The first evidence either way arrives with "Escatawpa Hollow" in the middle of September.
