Neil Young and Willie Nelson will play a pair of co-headlining shows in the Northeast this September, leading into their appearances at Farm Aid 2026, JamBase reported on August 18, 2026.

Young & The Chrome Hearts and Willie Nelson & Family will play Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater in Bridgeport, Connecticut on September 22, followed by TD Pavilion at Highmark Mann in Philadelphia on September 24, with Ty Myers opening both nights. Both acts then head to Farm Aid 2026 on September 26 at Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, Virginia, alongside fellow board members John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, Margo Price and Nathaniel Rateliff, with additional performers including Turnpike Troubadours, Lukas Nelson, Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs, Sierra Ferrell and Amythyst Kiah rounding out the bill.

The run marks an earlier return to the stage than expected for Young, who cancelled a planned European tour with The Chrome Hearts back in February, citing a need to take a break. His only live appearance since a Painted Turtle benefit show last October was a surprise acoustic set at a benefit concert in May. Young and his band will release a new album, Second Song, on September 18, just days before the Bridgeport show.

Tickets for both shows go on sale Friday, August 21, at 10 a.m. ET.

The dates add to a stacked Farm Aid 2026 lineup, and fans can track the rest of Young's and Nelson's rock and country dates on the tour guide, alongside Young's own album announcement for Second Song.
