Pearl Jam are putting one of their own live performances of Ten onto vinyl for the first time. Ten Live arrives Nov. 27 as a three sided LP, taken from the band's April 29, 2016 show at Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center, where they played their debut album from beginning to end.

That night was the first time they had done it since March 13, 1992 in Munich, and the first time on American soil. It was also their 10th sold out show at the South Philadelphia arena, and the venue marked the occasion with a banner reading Pearl Jam 10 South Philadelphia Sellouts.

Eddie Vedder decided on the spot that the number deserved a better response than a banner. "I saw that number and I was like, I think we gotta do it," he told the crowd before the band started working through the record track by track.

The full evening ran to 32 songs and about three hours, and the rarities went beyond the album itself. It carried tour debuts of Bee Girl, All or None and a cover of Neil Young's Throw Your Hatred Down, which is the kind of set list a band only builds when it decides mid afternoon to do something unusual.

The release was mixed by longtime collaborator Josh Evans. It comes on standard black vinyl and on a limited clear pressing sold only to members of the band's Ten Club fan organisation, who can also stream the pro shot concert through their membership. Anyone else can rent the video.

The timing sits against the album's 35th anniversary, and the band have been revisiting the record in other ways too, including a long look back at how Pearl Jam made Ten. Vinyl anniversary editions have been common this year across rock, among them Tom Waits' Small Change getting a 50th anniversary pressing. Release details sit on the release calendar.
