Mexican singer Pedro Fernandez announced his "Ave Fenix Two'r" tour on August 11, opening in the U.S. at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, on October 15. Live Nation billed the run in a Spanish-language announcement translated as: "He's back! Pedro Fernandez is taking flight once again with his Ave Fenix Two'r."
From Inglewood, the tour continues to the San Jose Civic on October 17, then moves east for stops including Madison Square Garden's Infosys Theater in New York on November 4, the Rosemont Theatre outside Chicago on November 6, and the Yaamava' Theater in Highland, California, on November 11.
The run continues through Las Vegas, Wheatland and Denver in mid-November, then Texas dates in Hidalgo, Houston and San Antonio, before closing with back-to-back shows in Phoenix on December 4 and San Diego's Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre on December 5.
Organizers billed the show as a reimagined live experience with a setlist of Fernandez's biggest hits, among them "Yo No Fui," "Amarte a la Antigua," "Mi Forma de Sentir" and "El Aventurero." General tickets go on sale August 14, with a presale for Citi cardmembers starting August 11.
