Porch Light, the Minneapolis indie rock band, announce debut album "Hush"

Minneapolis indie rock band Porch Light has announced its debut album, Hush, out September 18 via Mom + Pop, The Line of Best Fit reported. The 11-track record follows the band's EP Navy Blue and was previewed earlier this summer by singles "Arctic" and "Under."

Hush was recorded at Pachyderm Studios with producer Caleb Wright, known for his work with Samia and Hippo Campus, built on chemistry the band developed across two years of touring together. "To us as a band, 'Hush' is a symbol of our growth as musicians and as people," the band said. "It includes themes that deal with loss, growth, recovery, and progression."

The band added that the collection marks a point where they come to terms with where they've been and where they're heading, calling it an important marker in both their careers and their lives.

Hush's full tracklist runs "Arctic," "Paranoia," "Crossfire," "Mary's Got a Gun," "Living Room Blues," "With You," "Violence," "Under," "James," "Shut Out" and "Baggage."

Porch Light has already played sold-out shows across North America and supported Arcy Drive, Spacey Jane and Goth Babe, along with festival stops at Lollapalooza and Summerfest, with a Shaky Knees Festival appearance in Atlanta still to come.

The band's first headlining North American tour begins September 22 in Dallas, running through November, with the record tracked on the release calendar.
