Jazz Cafe Posk, a basement venue in Hammersmith, west London, has announced the lineup for the third Festival of Jazz Voice, a two-day run of vocal jazz on October 2 and 3. The event opens the venue's 2026-27 season and is listed on the festival tracker.
The first night features vocalists Cleveland Watkiss, Rosie Frater-Taylor, Manuela Panizzo and Marta Mathea Radwan. The second night is headlined by Norma Winstone, who will perform her project A Timeless Place alongside saxophonist Mark Lockheart and pianist Gareth Williams, with sets from Ian Shaw, Basia Bartz and Charlie Pyne rounding out the bill.
Winstone, a mainstay of the British jazz scene for decades, recently featured on pianist John Donaldson's new album, We Were Together, I Forget the Rest, out August 28.
Later in the autumn, Posk will also host an all-star evening in memory of Polish jazz violinist Michal Urbaniak, and a show from guitarist Rob Luft's quartet as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival. Tickets for both nights of the Festival of Jazz Voice are on sale now, with Friday and Saturday sold separately.
