Raavi, New York indie band, returns with new song "second thoughts"

It's the group's first new music since 2024's "The Upside" EP.

Raavi

New York indie-pop band Raavi released "second thoughts" on Friday, August 14, their first new music since 2024's The Upside EP. The relaxed, meditative track centers on singer Raavi Sita's vocals as she sings about jealousy, wine and skinny dipping, before the guitars build into what Stereogum described as a swift storm around her.

The song arrives with a music video made by fellow musician Nara Avakian, and Stereogum framed it as the first taste of more new material still to come from the band.

It's a return for Raavi after roughly two years between releases, and joins the rest of the week's indie arrivals tracked on the release calendar.
