Rascal Flatts have concerts booked into 2027, and frontman Gary LeVox says the band has no plans to stop, Taste of Country reported on August 6. LeVox told the outlet the fan response to the group's return caught him off guard: after 20 years of steady touring, he said, "you kind of wonder if you still matter."
The trio of Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney first stepped away in January 2020 after a 20 year run of hits including Bless the Broken Road, My Wish and What Hurts the Most. A planned farewell tour was cut short by the pandemic, and the band did not reunite onstage again until an inaugural ball performance in January 2025.
Both the 2025 and 2026 tours sold out, Taste of Country reported, which is part of why LeVox now expects the band to keep going rather than wind down again. The story lands in our country coverage and on the tour guide.
Asked directly whether he ever sees an end to Rascal Flatts, LeVox didn't hesitate: "No," he told Taste of Country, explaining that the scale of the fan response "really kinda blew my mind."
LeVox has kept busy off the road too: he is hosting the inaugural BIRDI Celebrity Golf Invitational at Old Hickory Country Club in Tennessee on August 11, a tournament built around celebrity foursomes, a live music performance and an auction benefiting Folds of Honor, the charity that supports families of fallen and disabled military service members and first responders.
