Resavoir, the Chicago jazz ensemble led by trumpeter Will Miller, has announced a new album, Above The Clouds, and shared its lead single, "4th Cloud," featuring Gregory Uhlmann.
Miller has been a fixture of Chicago's music scene for years, appearing on key 2010s releases from artists including Chance The Rapper, Whitney and Twin Peaks, and branching out beyond the city for work with SZA and Mavis Staples. For years, he has led Resavoir, an ever-shifting ensemble that previously recorded for Chicago's International Anthem label.
Above The Clouds marks Resavoir's latest release under Miller's direction, continuing the group's run of shifting lineups and genre-crossing collaborators. A release date for the full album has not yet been announced beyond the arrival of "4th Cloud."
