Rob49 and Sexyy Red team up again on the single IN THE CLUB

Rob49 and Sexyy Red released IN THE CLUB on 28 August, another entry in a partnership that has produced several songs already and shows no sign of being finished.

Both are known for energetic club records on their own, and the pairing tends to push each of them further in that direction rather than pulling either toward the middle. HotNewHipHop, reviewing the release, called it perhaps the best encapsulation of the Rob49 and Sexyy Red sound to date.

The track works on familiar terms. The bars are catchy, the flows are loose and quick, and the production is heavy enough to carry a room. It does not attempt anything new, and the review was straightforward about that, describing a song that feels familiar and remains a blast to listen to anyway.
