Ronnie Scott's Jazz Orchestra headlines the jazz day of the Battersea Park in Concert festival on 31 August, part of the festival tracker's bank-holiday lineup, returning to the south London park after a sellout performance there in 2024. The Amy Winehouse Band joins the bill this year, marking 20 years since the north London singer recorded her Back to Black album.
The same day also features Toby Lee, a UK blues guitarist known for his live playing; Ineza, whose sound draws on soul, jazz and R&B; and vocal trio Jazz Dynamo, who perform songs from the golden age of jazz and swing. A new addition for 2026, on the Friday before the bank holiday, brings South African artist Jeremy Loops and the London African Gospel Choir, who perform Paul Simon's Graceland album.
The wider bank holiday weekend also brings the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, playing a Pop Symphonic set of ABBA, Spice Girls and Bruno Mars reinterpretations on the Saturday, and a Movies and Musicals program on the Sunday covering Hamilton, Jesus Christ Superstar and The Greatest Showman, among others.
Organizers describe the festival as built around picnicking as much as the music, with bring-your-own spreads alongside bookable hampers, food stalls, wine tastings from French vineyard Domaine des Jeanne, and VIP upgrades including a private garden.
