SCREAM Edmonton is returning for its 27th year, with the Halloween EDM festival taking over the Edmonton EXPO Centre on October 30 and 31, Exclaim! reported. The lineup is led by Tiesto, Alesso and Sara Landry, alongside Chase & Status, Gryffin, Sullivan King, SVDDEN DEATH, Andrew Rayel, KREAM and Matroda.
The rest of the two-day bill rounds out with dozens more acts, including HNTR, Wax Motif, EDX, Kayzo, MaRLo, Westend, Wooli, Joshwa and Jackie Hollander, spread across the festival's stages.
Beyond the DJ lineup, the festival is adding more than 200 live performers, including dancers, stilt-walkers and aerialists, to build out the event's theatrical, Halloween-themed staging.
Tickets are on sale now across four tiers: general admission, GA+, VIP and Ultra VIP.
At 27 years running, SCREAM Edmonton is one of the longer-tenured Halloween-themed electronic events in North America, and this year's booking of Tiesto alongside newer names like Sara Landry signals an attempt to bridge the festival's long history with current dance music trends. Organizers have not announced whether additional performers will be added to the bill before the October dates.
