Sebastian Schub released a new single, "Haven't Found Love," alongside the announcement of a nine-date UK and European tour this October.
The song maps "the loneliness of a city that feels socially frayed," and Schub road-tested it on a recent run of intimate "early versions" shows across the UK and Paris.
The tour opens October 3 at Dublin's Academy 2, then moves to Glasgow's King Tut's, Manchester's Deaf Institute and a London show at EartH Theatre on October 7, followed by Cardiff's Clwb Ifor Bach, Paris, Cologne, Berlin and a hometown finale at Hamburg's Bahnhof Pauli on October 14; tickets are on sale now.
Schub, born in Hamburg and based in London, built his reputation on London's open-mic circuit. His debut single "Sing Like Madonna" became a streaming hit, followed by a handful of EPs, and he is now finishing his debut full-length album, whose title and release date are unconfirmed.
