Quebec folk songwriter Shaina Hayes has announced her third album, Take the Case of a Rose, due November 13 via Bonsound.
The record is previewed by "Tempest," a quiet, tender indie folk track Hayes says grapples with personal change, a theme she says carries through the rest of the album. It follows two earlier singles, "Flourish" and "Timid," both of which will also appear on the finished record.
Hayes will tour behind the album in her home province next spring, playing 11 dates across Quebec between March and April 2027, including intimate rooms like Sherbrooke's La Petite Boîte Noire and Montreal's Fairmount Theatre, with a later stop added in Lavaltrie that October.
