Shudder to Think are releasing a new EP, Who Sent You?, on September 11, and have shared the three-song project's title track.
It's the post-hardcore band's first new music since a 2025 single, itself their first release in nearly 30 years. Vocalist Craig Wedren said the new songs pull from a specific, formative stretch of his life.
"'Who Sent You?' is about my teenage years in Cleveland in the 1980s, just before I moved to D.C. with my outsized emotions, young, horny, bored," Wedren said in a statement. He described the EP as "a collage of memories, refracted through the prism of time, and a message back to my younger self."
Wedren called the project "a nocturnal thank you to all of the girls, family, friends, music, and invisible hands that lit the path, angels and devils both."
The band will play a handful of shows this September in Los Angeles, New York and Philadelphia in support of the release. Who Sent You? rounds out its tracklist with "Something to Do" and "Release the Ball."
