Canadian producer Sickick has released an official remix of "Pal Pal," the breakout hit from Afusic, Ali Soomro and Talwiinder, the newest addition to the release calendar. The remix keeps the original vocal at the center while rebuilding the production underneath it with Afro-leaning drums and a darker electronic sound.
"Pal Pal" was already one of 2025's most inescapable South Asian records before the remix arrived. Afusic's vocal, Talwiinder's verse and Ali Soomro's production, made out of Hyderabad, stacked more than 500 million streams and chart positions across Pakistan, India and beyond, largely on the strength of a hook that soundtracked countless heartbreak edits on social media.
Sickick, who performs behind a mask, first broke through globally with a viral rework of "Frozen." He grew up around Bollywood music, and said the combination of electronic production, Afro drums and South Asian vocals on this remix is something he had not heard done before.
His goal, he said, was to honor the original song while making it work on a dance floor, adding new atmosphere and low end without erasing what made "Pal Pal" a hit in the first place.
