Supergrass book a 2027 UK tour of hits and deep cuts

It is their first UK headline run since the 2025 dates marking 30 years of I Should Coco.

Supergrass have booked a nine-date UK tour for spring 2027, their first headline run at home since the shows in 2025 that marked 30 years of I Should Coco. Gaz Coombes and the band will play through April and May, and the pitch this time is a set that digs past the singles.

The run opens at Newcastle's NX on 26 April, then goes to Glasgow's Barrowland Ballroom on the 27th and Leeds O2 Academy on the 30th. May takes in Manchester Academy on the 1st, Rock City in Nottingham on the 4th, Birmingham O2 Academy on the 5th, the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London on the 7th, Bristol's Beacon on the 11th and Portsmouth Guildhall on the 12th.

Coombes said the band were excited to get back into it next year, and that where the last run was built around one album, this one would go through the records pulling out more of the hits and deep cuts. For a catalogue that runs from I Should Coco through In It for the Money and the self-titled 1999 album, that leaves a lot of ground.

Tickets move in three stages. The artist presale opens at 10am on 2 September, venue presales follow at 10am on 3 September, and general sale starts at 10am on 4 September.

Supergrass split in 2010 and came back in 2019 with a stated aim of bringing some joy into a disturbed world, and the reunion has since outlasted plenty of its contemporaries. Coombes has kept a solo career running alongside it, most recently with Turn The Car Around in 2023, and told NME in 2024 that soundtrack work had been eating his time with new writing sessions planned before the band picks back up.

The 2027 dates join everything else booked on the tour guide, and Supergrass file under rock and indie.
