Sylvan Esso have released "On & On," the newest single from their upcoming album Ow.

Ow was announced last month, following last year's "Hot Slob," a surprising detour into noisy guitar chaos for a duo better known for polished electronic pop. The album's lead single, "Concrete Glen," samples Sigur Ros, built around the gorgeous, familiar-yet-alien sound of Jonsi's vocals from "Svefn-g-englar," and marked a return to the duo's usual specialty of folk-informed, forward-thinking pop.

"On & On" keeps that momentum going as the album's second confirmed single, following through on the direction "Concrete Glen" pointed toward after the detour of "Hot Slob."

The new single adds to a run of new electronic and indie releases building toward Ow's release, tracked alongside other upcoming albums on the release calendar.
