Texas rapper Mike Dimes releases the album B.I.L.L.Y

Mike Dimes has released B.I.L.L.Y, a 15-track album that arrived on Wednesday, September 2, a rare mid-week drop in a release calendar built almost entirely around Fridays.

The Texas rapper has spent the past few years building a reputation on pace and volume rather than on restraint, and represents the state at every opportunity. B.I.L.L.Y keeps that register rather than trying to soften it.

Three guests appear across the record. Maxo Kream turns up on "STILL A YOUNGBOY", 1900Rugrat on "CRUCIAL" and Ski Mask The Slump God on "EYE LIED", which are the only three tracks of the fifteen that are not solo.

The rest runs from "BLACK COFFEE" and "LABELS STILL CALLIN'" through "BANDZ 2 MAKE", "PARANOID", "DENIM BLUES" and "TESTIMONIES" before closing on the title track. HotNewHipHop's first readers scored it 3.00 out of 5.
