The Spook School are reuniting. The Scottish indie-pop band, which broke up in 2019, announced a new album, Like A Heartbeat, and shared its lead single, "Falling."

The reunion marks the band's first new music since its split, ending a gap of several years without activity under The Spook School name. No further details on Like A Heartbeat's tracklist or release date have been shared beyond "Falling."

The Spook School built a following in the UK's DIY and indie-pop scenes before disbanding, and the return gives the band's fans a first taste of new material in years, with more expected to follow as the album rollout continues.
