Música mexicana singer Tito Double P releases second solo album "Acomodo"

Tito Double P released his second solo album, "Acomodo," on May 28, the Los Angeles Times reported, a 23-track corridos record that debuted atop both Spotify's Top Albums USA chart and its Top Global Chart across all genres. The album carries no guest features at all, a notable choice in a genre where collaborations are common currency for reaching bigger audiences.

Born Jesús Roberto Laija García in Nayarit and raised in Sinaloa, the 28-year-old singer first broke through in 2023 by writing hits for his cousin, the corridos tumbados star Peso Pluma, including songs like "El Belicon" and "AMG." His own career as a performer began after an unmastered version of a track leaked online that spring; he later finished it and released it as "Dembow Belico" alongside Luis R. Conriquez and Joel De La P.

Laija García released his 2024 debut solo album, "Incómodo," which peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard 200 and briefly outranked his cousin's own album on the Top Latin Albums chart. He and Peso Pluma wrapped a joint "Dinastía" tour, tied to their shared 2025 album of the same name, earlier this year, and he is set to headline Belico Fest at Los Angeles's BMO Stadium.

On "Acomodo," Laija García moves between the brash swagger of songs like "Me Vale V" and more vulnerable material such as "La Fama," where he sings about heartbreak, all within the corridos-driven latin sound that has carried him from ghostwriter to headliner in a few short years. "That's why it's called 'Acomodo,' because everything is aligning itself as it should be," he told the Times of the album's title.
