tripleS book six North American shows including Toronto and Vancouver

tripleS are bringing a short North American run to the United States and Canada this November, opening at Massey Hall in Toronto on 11 November and closing at the Centre in Vancouver on 26 November. Exclaim reports the dates, and opens with a disambiguation the group's own name makes necessary: the South Korean act is not the Toronto band Triples.

The itinerary is deliberately tight. After Toronto come four American dates: Kings Theatre in New York on 15 November, the Copernicus Center in Chicago on 18 November, Will Rogers Auditorium in Fort Worth on 21 November and The Wiltern in Los Angeles on 24 November, before the return north to Vancouver.

The outing is billed as ANDLESS, and the rooms tell you what kind of tour it is. Massey Hall holds under 3,000, the Wiltern about 1,900, and Kings Theatre around 3,000. That is a theatre tour rather than an arena one, which for a K-pop act touring North America is the sensible end of a market where the gap between a group that sells out an arena and one that half-fills it is brutal.

Six dates covering two countries also means routing across a continent for a handful of shows, with Fort Worth carrying the entire southern United States. Groups at this level tend to place one date per region and let the audience travel, which is exactly what the Toronto and Vancouver bookings do for Canada.
