Unsound festival names first acts for its 2026 New York edition

The New York run takes three days at Lincoln Center later this year.

Unsound festival has revealed the first wave of acts playing its New York edition, The Quietus reported on August 6. The three day run takes place at Lincoln Center from October 21 to 23, following the festival's flagship Polish edition in Warsaw and Krakow earlier in October, and ahead of a London edition set for November.

The New York bill opens with Actress presenting a new live show built around his upcoming album Radical Frame, while claire rousay and Martyna Basta link up for a new performance called hotel room. Japanese sound artist FUJI|||||||||||TA joins Ka Baird for a special Unsound commission titled Where Does Fire End?

The lineup also includes Hania Rani performing alongside Sinfonia Varsovia, Giant Claw and Julek Ploski, Ksiezyc, and Team Rolfes, with more acts expected in the coming months, The Quietus reported.
