Valley have booked a headline world tour for 2027, and the Toronto band have given it a scale their previous runs did not have. It opens on 4 February at Grizzly Fuzz in Quebec City and closes its North American leg at Massey Hall in their own city on 20 March, with Europe and the UK following in May.
Canada gets 12 shows, more than any other country on the run. After Quebec City come Montreal's Le Studio TD, The Bronson in Ottawa, Maxwell's in Waterloo and London Music Hall, then the western dates: Park Theatre in Winnipeg, Casino Regina, Midway Music Hall in Edmonton, The Palace Theatre in Calgary, Capital Ballroom in Victoria and the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver.
The American leg is threaded through those Canadian dates rather than bolted on after them. Chicago's Park West and Minneapolis's Fine Line come between the eastern and western Canadian runs, and after Vancouver the band work down the coast through Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles before crossing to Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Denver, St. Louis, Nashville, Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington, Philadelphia, New York's Webster Hall and Boston.
Massey Hall is the date that says the most. Finishing a North American run in a 2,700-seat heritage theatre in your home city is the kind of booking a band takes when they are confident of selling it, and it is a considerable step up from the club circuit the rest of this tour is built on.
Europe in May is the shorter half. Paris, Cologne, Berlin, Hamburg and Amsterdam come first, then the UK: Bristol's Thekla, Birmingham's O2 Institute 2, Manchester Club Academy, the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London on 14 May and the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds to finish.
Three support acts split the run between them. The Hits take the Canadian dates, Moody Joody the American ones, and Billianne joins for the Massey Hall show.
Tickets went to presale at 10am local time on 23 September, with the public on-sale on 25 September. The dates are listed on the tour guide with the rest of the pop and indie touring calendar, alongside other Canadian runs like Dumb Crush's fall dates.
