Van Morrison has added 10 UK tour dates to his 2026 schedule, NME reported on August 4. The Northern Irish singer-songwriter will follow a five-night residency at London's new British Airways ARC arena in September, first announced in May, with additional shows through October and November.
The new dates run from the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on October 8 and 9 through Swansea, Bristol, Plymouth and Torquay, closing out the month with two nights at Brighton Dome. Morrison then heads to Scotland in early November for shows at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and Edinburgh's Usher Hall. Tickets go on general sale August 7, with a Ticketmaster presale a day earlier.
The run follows the January release of Morrison's album "Somebody Tried to Sell Me a Bridge" and a September 26 headline date at London's New Wimbledon Theatre already on the books. He was given the Lifetime Achievement Award at this year's Jazz FM Awards and performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival alongside Raye, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, PinkPantheress and Lewis Capaldi this summer.
AEG Presents, which is opening the new arena, framed the residency as a milestone for the venue. "We are thrilled to welcome Van Morrison as the very first artist to have a residency at our brand-new venue," Lucy Noble, the promoter's senior vice president of UK venues, said in a statement. Morrison closed out last summer by opening for Neil Young at BST Hyde Park in London.
