Willi Carlisle has released "Marlboro Vinyasa," the latest single from his double album The Universal Bubba, produced by Tyler Childers. Where the prior single, "Mason Jar At The Center Of The World," played as a traditional reel built for square dancing, "Marlboro Vinyasa" is a barroom country-rocker.

The song opens with the line "I been gettin' up each morning with the hair of the downward dog," setting a wry, smoky tone that carries through the track. Promotional materials for the single lean on the word "smoky" repeatedly, a fitting descriptor given the cigarette brand referenced in its title.

The Universal Bubba marks Carlisle's collaboration with fellow country artist Tyler Childers behind the boards, following a run of singles that have shown off different sides of the record ahead of its release.
